Senior Manager - Technology Sourcing

Manage and build the regional sourcing team and be responsible for all aspects of management, growth, development, and operational activity within the team and the strategic alignment to the business

Description

• Guide team members through various sourcing events (RFx events & Direct Negotiations) with different spend, risk levels, and complexity, and across multiple Technology and Telecoms categories -
• Build a team, create a culture that attracts top talent, and guide them to ensure high performance
• Partner with top exexcutives and stakeholders to deliver favorable sourcing events - build strong relationships with departments and other sourcing teams
• Contribute to the global sourcing vision, strategies, and priorities including driving forward the Sourcing workstream within our 'make responsible buying easy' transformation; including driving the development and delivery of a holistic and seamless source-to-pay process that supports our ESG goals, and risk principles
• Lead the development and implementation of world-class sourcing processes, principles, and KPIs for each category, identify and deploy technologies that can digitize and automate these sourcing processes and develop a clear and sustainable governance model for the Sourcing practice.

Profile

• 10+ years in a professional business environment, with 5+ years of Technology procurement experience required; people management experience required
• Experience Managing spend of over $500M
• University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
• Procurement transformation experience a must
• Deep strategic sourcing knowledge across multiple standard indirect categories that delivers excellent sourcing strategies: including, Software, SaaS, Hardware, Cloud, Telecom -- Professional Services
• Excellent critical thinking, communication and organziational skills required
• Ability to influence high level executives
