Healthcare Superintendent

Healthcare Construction Superintendent will lead the on-site management of healthcare facility construction projects, including hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, and specialized treatment centers. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of healthcare construction protocols, infection control procedures, and the coordination of complex MEP systems in active and sensitive environments.

Description

The Responsibilities of a Healthcare Construction Superintendent are:

• Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization to project closeout
• Enforce infection control measures (ICRA), site safety protocols, and compliance with healthcare standards
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and equipment installations
• Interface with project managers, architects, engineers, and healthcare stakeholders
• Ensure construction quality, adherence to plans/specs, and timely delivery
• Maintain detailed daily logs and progress reports

Profile

The Succesful Healcare Construction Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on healthcare or hospital construction
• Strong knowledge of ICRA, AHCA, Joint Commission, NFPA, and relevant healthcare regulations
• Experience working in active healthcare environments and understanding of patient safety protocols
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and managing schedules
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• OSHA 30 and ICRA Certification
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
• Experience with surgical suites, imaging rooms, or specialty medical installations
