Client Details
Our Client is a national General contractor who has been in the building and construction industry for over 60 years bringing in an annual revenue of $100M per year. They are a multidisciplinary both in commercial and multifamily projects. Right now they are looking for a Project Engineer- National GC- Multifamily who can learn and grow within the company.
Description
reporting to the Project Engineer- National GC- Multifamily is responsible for:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
- Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure the project stays on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Provide support with cost estimation, helping to track material, labor, and equipment expenses.
- Prepare and present status reports for the project manager, highlighting potential issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any project challenges or conflicts that arise, minimizing delays or disruptions.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Profile
An ideal Candidate for Project Engineer - Multifamily Construction role would be:
- Proven experience within the Building and Construction space
- Relevant degree in a building and construction field
- 2+ years of expereice in building and construction
- Driven individual with a passion for construction
