Description
- Oversee daily on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Lead and manage the construction team, including subcontractors, self-perform crews, and site staff.
- Implement and manage project schedules using critical path scheduling systems (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore).
- Monitor and update project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines and resolving any scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective problem-solving.
- Ensure site safety and compliance with regulations and company safety standards.
- Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, budget, and schedule.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, encouraging team development and mentorship.
Profile
- 5-7+ years years of Superintendent experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
- Project experience in one of their core markets:K-12 schools, higher Ed, community centers, police stations, etc.
- Experience working locally around Providence preferred
- Ability to communicate with subcontractors and other project team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
