Construction Accountant
My client is actively seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Construction Accountant for a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate should have profound knowledge in property industry accounting and be familiar with Procore and Quickbooks.

Our client is a mid-sized, well-established General Contractor in the construction industry. With a strong presence in Phoenix, they are recognized for their commitment to excellence in commercial and residential construction.
Description
- As the Construction Accountant you will manage all phases of construction accounting, including job cost reporting and project billing.
- Process all projects A/P and A/R for the construction projects and operating company.
- Manage and process payroll for all construction and field staff.
- Regularly utilize Procore and Quickbooks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in all accounting operations.
- Coordinate with project managers and ensure accurate project budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Handle monthly and annual closings with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide support during audits and implement audit recommendations as needed.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
