Superintendent- Public Projects

The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring schedules, safety, quality, and budgets are met. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong subcontractor coordination skills and experience delivering ground-up and/or interior commercial projects, with public project exposure viewed as a plus.

Description

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements

• Maintain project schedules, daily reports, and site logistics

• Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project managers and stakeholders

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards

• Interface with municipalities and inspectors, particularly on public or government-funded projects when applicable

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

• Proven experience overseeing ground-up or major renovation commercial projects

• Public sector or municipal project experience is a strong plus

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Experience working in the South Florida market preferred
