We are representing a U.S.-based, privately held industrial manufacturer specializing in advanced synthetic and wire-rope systems for critical lifting and rigging applications. Established in the 1980s and headquartered in the Northeast, the organization has grown steadily with eight production sites and a global dealer and distributor network spanning 80+ countries.They are known for engineering lightweight, high-strength synthetic lifting technologies used across sectors such as construction, power generation, utilities, infrastructure, marine, and industrial manufacturing.Following a recent strategic consolidation that unified several respected legacy brands under one group, the business is now focused on expanding its commercial footprint and strengthening its regional sales organization. The company is backed by a strong ownership structure and has experienced significant growth within its synthetic rope division.

Description

The company is seeking Regional Sales Managers to lead business development and account management activities across the Midwest region. You will play a critical role in expanding market share and strengthening customer partnerships within industrial and infrastructure sectors.Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies focused on growth and profitability across diverse industrial markets.
  • Manage and expand relationships with distributors, OEMs, contractors, and key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, technical consultation, and market analysis.
  • Partner closely with internal engineering and operations teams to tailor high-performance lifting solutions for complex applications.
  • Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations to customers across varied end markets.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reporting using CRM tools.
  • Represent the company at industry trade events and customer visits to promote brand visibility and technical leadership.

A successful Regional Sales (Midwest/Central) should have:

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience within the industrial, lifting, rigging, rope, or engineered materials sector.
  • A proven background in both new business development and account management, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader commercial and technical team.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and operational audiences.
  • Experience selling into industrial markets such as utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, or marine preferred.
  • A technical or engineering background is advantageous but not required.
  • Ambition to grow into a leadership or commercial management role over time.
