Superintendent #2 - Multi-family - CT

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent (Area Super/#2) to join a growing team and oversee a major multifamily project in Newington, CT. This is a long-term opportunity with multiple projects in the pipeline, offering stability and growth.

Description

As Superintendent, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for a $75M multifamily project (250 units)
• Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to schedule and quality standards
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure job site
• Coordinate with project managers and office staff for seamless execution
• Monitor progress and resolve on-site issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project life cycle

Profile

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or Area Superintendent in multifamily construction
• Strong knowledge of wood-frame and podium construction (5 stories over precast garage)
• Ability to manage large-scale projects and multiple trades effectively
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Newington, CT (first project starts mid-December)
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore experience is a plus)
