Estimator - Lab/ Lifescience - $130k - Boston, MA
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Estimator with a focus on Lab/Life Science projects to join our growing team. Their team works collaboratively to deliver cost-effective, value-driven solutions from preconstruction to project completion.
Description
Estimator - Lab/ Lifescience - $130k - Boston, MA - Responsibilities
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, primarily focused on lab and life sciences projects.
- Utilize estimating software (Bluebeam, Procore, P6, BIM/VDC) to generate and manage project estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective, constructible, and coordinated solutions.
- Review design documents for constructability, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and offering alternatives for consideration.
- Support the Director of Preconstruction in building and refining the estimating department processes.
- Work closely with the Project Coordinator and PEX team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual estimates for early-phase projects.

Job Offer
Estimator - Lab/ Lifescience - $130k - Boston, MA - Will receive
- Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000, with flexibility for the right candidate (up to $140,000).
- Mileage reimbursement for travel to project sites.
- 401(k) plan, PTO, and other benefits.
- Vehicle allowance to assist with travel.
