On-Site Project Manager
My client is seeking an experienced On-Site Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex life sciences construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating between clients, design teams, and subcontractors. Client Details
My client is a leading design-build construction management firm dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality facilities for the life sciences sector. With a proven track record of excellence, they specialize in creating state-of-the-art laboratories, research centers, cleanrooms, and GMP-compliant manufacturing spaces that meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organizations. - Manage all on-site activities for design-build and CM projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and control costs to meet financial targets.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements specific to life sciences facilities.
- Lead subcontractors and field staff, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts promptly.
- Act as the on-site representative for the client, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Enforce site safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a zero-incident environment.
- Maintain accurate records of RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and progress photos.
Profile
- Minimum 5+ years in construction project management, with at least 3 years in life sciences or pharmaceutical projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of design-build delivery, GMP compliance, and cleanroom construction.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, or similar project management tools.
- PMP or CCM preferred; OSHA 30 required.
