Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution - Peabody, MA
This role designs and delivers electrical systems for highly complex capital equipment, combining system-level architecture with hands-on engineering execution. The position owns projects end-to-end, driving technical decisions, timelines, and cross-functional coordination to support advanced product development.

This role will report directly into the Director of Electrical Engineering and be responsible for:
- Designing and developing electrical systems including power distribution, PCB layouts, and system-level architectures
- Executing engineering projects across the full lifecycle, from concept through validation and production
- Driving project timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring on-time execution across cross-functional teams
- Collaborating with mechanical, process, and manufacturing teams to integrate complex electromechanical systems
- Conducting design reviews, presenting technical concepts, and communicating progress to broader stakeholder groups
- Implementing and managing engineering change processes within structured systems
- Evaluating components, vendors, and technologies to ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Supporting testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to optimize system performance
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering within complex equipment or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Strong experience in power distribution, PCB design, or system-level electrical engineering
- Proven ability to own projects and drive execution in cross-functional settings
- Experience with design tools such as Altium, PADS, or PSpice
- Familiarity with formal change management processes (e.g., Windchill or similar systems)
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
- Background in semiconductor equipment or adjacent industries such as medical devices or capital equipment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
