Description

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Construction Project Manager - CA K-12 - Santa Rosa, CA

• Point of contact for Client and other consultants/contractors for the contract, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of CA K14 and or civic projects
• Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Client on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project
• Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements
• Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and requirements between Owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities
• Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, and project closeout
• Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
• Coordinates and monitors activities of contractors, engineers, architects, and related sub-consultants/contractors
• Ensures project team adheres to safety requirements
• Manages procurement services, as may be required by the Client

Profile

A Successful Senior Construction Project Manager - CA K-12 - Santa Rosa, CA

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Construction Manager (or equivalent) in another similar firm
• Experience on projects larger than $100 million
• Progressive knowledge of design-phase management, construction phase management, cost and project controls, scheduling, and documentation.
• Knowledge of architecture/engineering and construction principles, contracts and delivery methods (specifically, design-build)
• Thorough understanding of contracts documents, Division 00/01, drawings, and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost control, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings are required
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, Bluebeam, and proficiency with project-related systems such as Prolog or other management software is required
• Experience with CA K14 and or public agency projects

Job Offer

On Offer for a Senior Construction Project Manager - CA K-12 - Santa Rosa, CA

• Base salary $145,000-$165,000 DOE
