Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production teams to ensure daily and long-term objectives are met
• Review schedules, reports, and production metrics; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor labor utilization and address direct/indirect workforce challenges
• Proactively manage production issues (e.g., material shortages, equipment issues, expedited orders) to minimize downtime
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance, safety, and quality standards
• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and workforce planning
• Communicate expectations clearly and enforce company policies and procedures
• Stay current on industry practices through training and professional development

Profile

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical training preferred
• Experience in steel fabrication
• Strong blueprint reading and fabrication process knowledge
• Proven ability to lead teams and resolve production challenges
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement
