Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Construction
Client Details
Our client is one of New Jersey's largest and most respected design-build General Contractors / Construction Managers, with over 50 years of sustained growth and success. - Project Management: Manage and oversee multiple small to mid-sized projects simultaneously across various pharma campus locations
- Client-Facing: Support and deepen long-standing client relationships while identifying new project opportunities within the account
- Schedule Management: Lead project execution from planning through closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor junior Project Managers, Assistant Superintendents, and field staff
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical facility standards, safety, and operational requirements
- Quality Control: Provide strategic oversight and problem-solving across fast-moving, concurrent project workstreams
Profile
- 10-15+ years of construction management/project management experience
- Strong, recent experience managing pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously across different locations
- Leadership mindset with a desire to step into a high-impact, client-facing role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients
- Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced team members
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
