Description
The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This is an office-based role in Fairfax, VA, with occasional site visits across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple construction projects, including interiors, K-12, government, and SCIFs.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
Profile
- Prior experience in interior and tenant fit outs
- Prior experience in K-12, government, or SCIF projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management (preferred)
- Excellent management skills in budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Skilled in adapting to changing project requirements and conditions
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management software
- Successfully managed multiple large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects were delivered on time and within budget
