The Manufacturing Engineer supports production operations by developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes within a regulated aerospace environment. Description

In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Supporting day‑to‑day production activities by addressing process issues and ensuring smooth workflow
• Developing and updating manufacturing work instructions, routings, and process documentation
• Assisting in the industrialization of new products and changes, including tooling, fixtures, and process validation activities
• Conducting time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Troubleshooting manufacturing problems and working with cross‑functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean events, 5S, and standardization efforts
• Supporting non‑conformance investigations and contributing to corrective and preventive action activities
• Collaborating with design engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within aerospace, automotive, industrial, or similar environments
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience supporting production processes, troubleshooting issues, or optimizing manufacturing workflows
• Experience authoring or maintaining work instructions, process documentation, or manufacturing standards
• Lean manufacturing tools, continuous improvement activities, or root‑cause analysis methods knowledge
• Experience with basic CAD tools or production support systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across engineering, operations, and quality teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
