Description

Reporting directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Design, develop, and implement molding equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes
    • Support the setup, qualification, and ongoing optimization of molding‑based production lines
    • Create and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation for equipment and processes
    • Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and quality improvements
    • Troubleshoot existing molding systems and resolve process or equipment issues
    • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other stakeholders to drive design and process improvements
    • Assist with the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
    • Develop and implement cost‑reduction initiatives and quality control measures
    • Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment comply with all safety and regulatory standards
    • Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
    • Support ad‑hoc technical projects as required by the business

Profile

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
    • At least two years of hands‑on experience supporting and designing molding tools and processes
    • Practical experience working within a production or assembly manufacturing environment
    • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
    • Exposure to molding techniques such as encapsulation, transfer molding, compression molding, or potting
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders
    • A proactive problem‑solver with a creative, analytical approach
    • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working on multiple priorities
    • Desirable exposure to project management, risk assessment, and design of experiments
