Inventory Analyst
Our client, an innovative education tech company based in Mason, is looking for an Inventory Analyst. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role.

Description
This role will involve:
- Perform/review reconciliations and analysis of between the Sub-ledger and the General Ledger using tools such as Access, Excel, Showcase, Blackline
- Review reconciliations of inventory at third party consignment locations
- Process/Post inventory batches in ERP system
- Support the finance department in reporting needs by using defined reporting tools such as Showcase, Hyperion Essbase, and SAP
- Support, complete, and ensure month end closing processes and checklist procedures are accurate and timely to comply with SOX controls
- Review, support and maintain integrity reports as necessary
- Support ERP inventory processes such as receiving, purchase order and work order setup, and transaction flow, in support of internal & external customers, both domestic and international
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Process & policy improvement
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by management
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and /or Finance is required
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is preferred
• Cost/manufacturing accounting experience is a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of and experience in MS Office Suite of products
• Experience working with large data sets is preferred
• Experience with Showcase or other reporting and query tools is preferred
• Experience with creating and maintaining advanced queries is preferred
• Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of assigned processes and ability to identify process improvements
• Experience in full cycle accounting / month end close process is a plus
• Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing assignments
