Description

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents related to capital markets transactions.
• Perform due diligence, including reviewing and summarizing financial and corporate records.
• Manage transaction closings, including drafting closing checklists and coordinating documentation.
• Maintain and organize transaction files and databases.
• Conduct legal research and provide support for client presentations and meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and team members to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines throughout all processes.
• Provide general support to the legal team as needed.

Profile

A successful Capital Markets Group Paralegal should have:

• A bachelor's degree is required, and a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved training program is preferable but not required
• 8+ years of Corporate Paralegal
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the professional services industry.
