Description

  • Oversight of both tenant in place preservation LIHTC and ground up affordable and supportive housing, sizable projects in NY.
  • Manage affordable housing projects, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with and manage architects, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project phases.
  • Prepare and review project budgets, financial reports, and funding applications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to affordable housing.
  • Oversee project documentation and maintain thorough records for audits and reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align projects with organizational objectives.

Profile

A successful Affordable Housing Owner's Rep Project Manager should have:

  • Engineering OR Construction Management OR Architecture degree.
  • Hands on construction experience ideally in both a developer and contractor capacity.
  • Ground up and interior project experience for sizable developments in a client facing role.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing development processes and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule oversight.
  • Experience working with architects, contractors, and community stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with funding applications and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
