Description
CMM Programmer:
- Program CMM routines using PC-DMIS for machined components at all process stages
- Ensure quality inspections align with GD&T and blueprint specifications
- Maintain inspection documentation, measurement data, and non-conformance records
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality engineers to address issues and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in inspection and quality processes
- Assist in training inspectors on CMM operation and quality standards
- Utilize root cause analysis to investigate quality issues and prevent recurrence
Profile
CMM Programmer:
- 6+ years in CMM programming or quality assurance
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T
- Skilled in manual layout inspection and machining processes
- Aerospace experience with nickel, titanium, or aluminum preferred
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
