Sr. Quality Engineer

Description
Senior Quality Engineer:
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, control plans, and inspection records.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies like PDCA or DMAIC.
Analyze quality performance data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Support inspection processes by selecting appropriate measurement tools and training quality personnel in best practices.
Profile
Te successful Senior Quality Engineer:
Brings 5+ years of experience with AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 quality systems in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Has hands-on expertise in metalworking processes such as welding and heat treating, with familiarity in Nadcap requirements.
Skilled in problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, DMAIC) and capable of leading cross-functional quality initiatives.
Adept at interpreting complex engineering drawings and collaborating across teams to drive continuous improvement.
