Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth for construction robots, accessory power tools, and consumables.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across key sectors in the construction industry, including robotics, automation, and advanced machinery.
  • Manage and expand existing sales channels, fostering strong relationships with main contractors, equipment rental providers, and specialty construction retailers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals, effectively establishing agency channels in construction robotics, equipment, and power tools.
  • Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales planning, forecasting, and product development.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets, contributing to the overall business growth objectives in Japan and the broader APAC region.
  • Represent the company at key industry events & trade shows, building and maintaining the company's reputation as an industry leader in construction technology.

Profile

  • 10-20 years of proven sales experience in the construction, engineering, automation, or power tools industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, power tools, welding machines, and emerging construction technologies such as robotics and automation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams in competitive markets.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of construction sales channels, including main contractors, equipment rental providers, and specialty retailers.
  • Technical proficiency in areas such as drilling, anchoring, and construction equipment service and maintenance.
  • Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree or industry certifications preferred.
