The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while maintaining consistent communication and project documentation

Client Details

A well‑established commercial construction firm in the Mid‑Atlantic region is seeking a professional, detail‑oriented Project Manager to lead and execute construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and proven experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. The Project Manager will serve as the primary representative for the company on assigned projects and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards.

Description

  • Lead project kickoff, turnover, and schedule development, updating progress regularly.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and project logs to ensure timely documentation and communication.
  • Oversee project budgets, monthly cost forecasts, and invoice processing.
  • Identify, price, and negotiate change orders.
  • Coordinate subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and meetings.
  • Maintain professional client and subcontractor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in commercial construction, including scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, MS Office).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain project momentum under shifting conditions.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and collaborative project execution.
