Description

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounting cycle for two smaller subsidiaries and play a key role in consolidating financials across 16 entities for reporting to executive leadership at the holding company.
• Manage full-cycle accounting and monthly close activities for two assigned entities.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across 16 business units.
• Post journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliations across multiple ledgers.
• Analyze revenue, COGS, and inventory trends to support financial accuracy and decision-making.
• Prepare supporting schedules and statistical reports as part of internal and external reporting packages.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate financial representation across entities.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying efficiencies and implementing best practices.
• Support various ad hoc projects and reporting needs as requested by senior leadership.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Consolidation experience preferred but not a requirement
• Experience working within the Manufacturing industry preferred but not a requirement
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Understanding and application of accounting principles/practices
• Strong business partnering and communication skills
