Public Works Construction Senior Project Engineer

As a Public Works Construction Senior Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in project coordination, documentation, and supporting the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of large-scale public works and DSA building and construction projects.

My client, a highly respected General Contractor specializing in public works projects, is seeking an experienced Public Works Construction Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Santa Barbara, CA. Description

• Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination

• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders

• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with DSA and public works requirements

• Collaborate with field teams and design professionals to resolve issues quickly and effectively

• Support cost tracking and forecasting to keep projects on budget and on schedule

Profile

• 2+ years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably on public works or DSA projects as a Public Works Construction Senior Project Engineer

• Strong understanding of construction documents, codes, and regulations

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Job Offer

• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (DOE)
