Description
The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, keeping them on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations. Core responsibilities include:
- Project Oversight: Lead daily project management, aligning with client goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and guide teams, ensuring collaboration and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Coordination: Facilitate smooth integration between project disciplines for efficiency and synergy.
- Reporting: Manage project reporting systems and prepare detailed progress and cost reports for clients and senior management.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Bid Management: Develop bid packages, analyze bids, and provide recommendations for contract awards.
- Budget & Schedule Control: Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines for proactive resource management.
- Vendor Management: Oversee submittals and expedite material and equipment deliveries.
- Status Reporting: Provide clients with regular updates on project progress.
- Site & Crew Planning: Develop site utilization plans and determine optimal crew sizes.
Profile
Qualifications for Project Manager - Ground-Up Construction - Raleigh:
- 5+ Years of Experience: Proven success as a Project Manager with a General Contractor (GC) or Developer, overseeing complex construction projects.
- Tilt-wall experience highlight preferred.
- Commercial or Multifamily Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead commercial or multifamily projects from start to finish.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of industry-standard construction software for effective project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Motivated Leader: Driven, and possessing a strong work ethic, with a passion for achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
