Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties, including supporting month end, journal entries, tax and reconciliations. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Our Client is a leading beauty brand known for its innovative makeup products and dedication to inclusivity. With a global presence and a commitment to empowering individuals through cosmetics, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join the finance team.
Description
General Ledger Management:
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
- Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations of accounting transactions.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue customer invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and incorporate updates into accounting practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and procurement, to support business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to help inform decision-making processes.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
