Manufacturing Engineer - Precision Machining - Middleboro, MA
In the Manufacturing Engineer position, you'll be responsible for operating and supporting CNC machining processes to produce high-precision components using both manual and automated equipment. You'll be on site (7:30am -3:30pm) handle setup, inspection, post-processing, and ERP data entry in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will report to the General Manager, in this role you will:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts to tight tolerances
- Load raw materials and monitor machine performance throughout production runs
- Perform in process inspections using gauges, indicators, and CMM equipment
- Complete post-machining tasks such as deburring, polishing, and chamfering
- Accurately record production data and measurements in ERP and quality systems
- Assist with tool changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Participate in inventory counts and occasional special projects or tasks
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and basic programming
- Proficient with inspection tools, including CMMs
- Comfortable with CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM preferred)
- Hands on, detail oriented, and quality driven
- Familiar with ERP systems and computer basics
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliance)
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- No degree required, experience matters most
