Employee Relations Specialist
The Employee Relations Specialist plays a key role in creating a supportive and positive work environment by building and sustaining strong employee relations practices. This position provides guidance to both employees and management in navigating workplace challenges, resolving conflicts, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and organizational policies.

Description
- Promote a healthy work culture by implementing strong employee relations strategies.
- Help both staff and leadership navigate workplace challenges, resolve disputes, and adhere to employment laws and company guidelines.
- Act as the primary contact for addressing employee issues, complaints, and conflicts.
- Lead investigations into workplace concerns such as grievances, harassment, discrimination, or breaches of policy.
- Advise managers and team members on handling performance issues, disciplinary procedures, and interpreting HR policies.
- Work closely with company leadership to ensure a respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of employee relations matters and how they were resolved.
- Analyze recurring employee concerns and suggest preventative measures to boost morale and reduce turnover.
- Make sure the organization's practices comply with labor regulations and internal standards.
- Help create and carry out initiatives that drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
Profile
- 4 years of HR experience, specifically concentrated on employee relations.
- Skilled in handling employee relations matters, including performance issues, delivering feedback, and conducting investigations.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members at all levels.
- Capable of independently guiding, coaching, and influencing managers.
- A bachelor's degree or SHRM certification is required.
- Solid understanding of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.
