Litigation Paralegal

The Litigation Paralegal will provide essential support to attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case management, document preparation, and trial support. This role is ideal for motivated paralegals eager to build a lon-term career with a fast paced team.

This global law firm is one of the most prestigous law firms in the world, known for innovation and collaboration within teams. This is a hybrid role.

Description

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Manage case files, ensuring that all documents are organized and up to date.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and precedents.
  • Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery processes.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including creating exhibits and trial binders.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and schedule meetings.
  • File court documents electronically and maintain compliance with court deadlines.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Profile

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3+ YOE as a litigation paralegal.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, includign Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other court related websites.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
  • A paralegal certification or equivalent education is a plus.
