My client is a reputable, full-service construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality building solutions from concept to completion. Founded 10+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial, restaurant, and retail project spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Estimator to join the team!
Description
- Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
- Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
- Analyzes and resolves cost differences.
- Develop and present budgets, reports, and project plans.
- Develops bids for construction projects.
- Works closely with architects and other professionals.
- Schedules meetings with clients, contractors, site managers, and staff.
Profile
- 4-year college degree in engineering or construction management is desirable
- 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably in the commercial, multifamily or mixed use space. Additional field experience and project engineering is desirable.
- Experienced and proficient in On-Screen Take-Off and Timberline estimating software is preferable but not mandatory assuming candidate has experience in similar applications.
- Proficient in MS Excel, FTP site, document distribution, storage and records management.
Job Offer
- A competitive base salary between $100,000 - $140,000 (Depending on experience with a general contractor)
