Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess project requirements and ensure accuracy.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost impacts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients as needed.
• Monitor and update project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in estimating.
• Provide support to the construction team by ensuring estimates align with project goals.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• A strong understanding of construction methodologies and cost estimation principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project data effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
