Maintenance Manufacturing Manager
The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance operations for a high-volume production facility. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, team leadership, and strategic foresight.

We are working with a well-established manufacturing organization that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations for a high-volume production facility. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, team leadership, and strategic foresight to ensure machinery, infrastructure, and systems operate safely and efficiently.
This is not an office-based role - the ideal candidate is hands-on, floor-engaged, and comfortable taking ownership of plant-wide maintenance. The position requires 24/7 on-call responsibility and the ability to manage both preventative planning and urgent repairs.
Description
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all plant machinery, infrastructure, and grounds.
Lead compliance with all safety, fire, and environmental codes and regulations (state and federal).
Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Maintain building security systems and emergency response capabilities.
Manage a team of technicians and support staff to ensure optimal team performance and equipment uptime.
Coordinate and lead capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and upgrades.
Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and budgeting for maintenance operations.
Profile
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Operations Management.
Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Preferred certifications:
Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), CMRP
Six Sigma (Green Belt)
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Experience
5-10 years in plant or industrial maintenance, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Strong hands-on background with:
Mechanical systems (machinery, conveyors, HVAC)
Electrical systems (motors, PLCs, automation)
Maintenance planning (preventive/predictive)
CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo, EAM)
Emergency maintenance and safety compliance
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Clear communication with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and ISO compliance standards.
