Description

• Preconstruction Management - leading overall preconstruction effort across a team of estimators
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project goals, scopes and feasibility
• Foster a collaborative working environment with project managers, superintendents, and other departments
• Lead internal team meetings to discuss project progress, risk management, and strategies for optimization
• Develop strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and interviews for new projects
• Lead the development of comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical path items and potential risks
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements during preconstruction planning

Profile

• 15+ years experience within the construction industry in an estimating/preconstruction role
• Experience managing a team of estimators, ideally 3+ direct reports
• 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desired
• Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships
• Comfortable working closely with Business Development team in the pursuit of new business relationships
• Expertise in negotiated bid proposals
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
• Software proficiency with the following preferred but not required: Procore, AutoDesk, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, REVIT

• Base salary contingent on experience, OTE 250K+
