Senior Paralegal, Corporate - Restructuring
This role provides critical support to attorneys in all phases of Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy proceedings, including document preparation, court filing, hearing preparation, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in complex legal environments and be adept at managing both procedural and substantive aspects of corporate restructuring cases.

Description
Document Preparation & Research:
- Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision
- Revise and proofread draft pleadings and court documents
- Conduct factual and precedent research; maintain organized collections
- File court documents electronically on dockets
Case Management & Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate case progress
- Ensure compliance with federal and local court rules and deadlines
Fee Application Support:
- Draft monthly fee statements and interim compensation applications
- Review and edit task narratives and disbursement details to align with fee guidelines
- Coordinate with attorneys, billing, and administrative teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Hearing Preparation:
- Analyze dockets and prepare hearing agendas
- Retrieve and organize all relevant case documents
- Coordinate with court chambers and compile materials for hearings
- Provide on-site or remote support to attorneys during proceedings
Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar paralegal role, with a focus on corporate restructuring preferred
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background required
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; experience with legal databases and e-filing systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information
Job Offer
Candidates can expect a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 based on their experience and qualifications, along with a stable, full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. This role offers valuable exposure to complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy matters, providing an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled corporate restructuring legal team within a prestigious global law firm.
