Operations Manager - Commercial Construction

$130,000 - $160,000/Year

This operations manager will have the opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled individuals working on commercial construction projects throughout the Southeast. This is an immediate leadership role.

Description

  • Oversee all construction activities on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient work flow
  • Develop and implement project schedules and timelines
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and resources
  • Address any issues or delays that may arise during construction
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and communicate project progress and updates
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among project staff
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work

Profile

  • Extensive experience overseeing construction projects in commercial construction
  • Experience managing large field teams
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficient in coordinating with various stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Experienced in managing complex budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize safety and security protocols essential for construction operations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively leading project teams and interfacing with clients and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in commercial construction and infrastructure
