Project Manager - Ground Up Clubhouse Construction

The Project Manager will be responsible for small portfolio of Commercial Projects ($2M - $10M). You are responsible for taking the project from inception through CO and delivering it on-time and under budget. Including doing initial bidding, take-offs and estimates.

Description

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards
• Project Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
• Resource Management: Allocate and optimize resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize project efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Budget and Cost Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial goals. Implement cost-saving measures and value engineering initiatives without compromising project quality.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team members meet project objectives and deliver high-quality work.
• Change Management: Assess and manage project scope changes, including evaluating the impact on schedule, budget, and resources. Implement effective change management procedures to minimize disruption and maintain project alignment.

Profile

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Team player that works well with field and office staff
• 4 year degree; construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (Preferred)
• Experience working on projects from $2MM to $10MM
• Ground up Commercial project experience (REQUIRED)
• Clubhouse Project experience (Preferred)
• Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges. Proactive approach to mitigating risks and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of construction
