Funds Transfer Consultant (3-Month Temporary Assignment)
The Funds Transfer Consultant will support the Funds Transfer Supervisor in the accurate and timely processing of daily transactions and check clearing operations for our client's New York Branch. This role ensures all Pay-Thru-Correspondent (PTC) and Fedwire transactions meet deadlines and regulatory standards. The position requires full-time, on-site presence in our client's New York City office for the 3-month assignment.

Description
- Process payments and messages (PTC, FedWire, Book Transfers, Check21, etc.) in the eGifts system.
- Perform first-level verification of OFAC and compliance-related items.
- Review and release OFAC-filtered transactions; escalate as needed to Compliance.
- Perform opening and closing duties on a rotating schedule.
- Coordinate processing priorities and support the daily workflow of Funds Transfer staff.
- Provide support and cross-training to other Funds Transfer team members.
- Refer payments exceeding thresholds to Operations Control for approval.
- Review and support all check clearing functions, including Inclear and Deposits.
- Serve as a backup for SWIFT and messaging-related activities.
- Liaise with Fedwire operations to resolve transactional issues.
- Act as back-up for the Funds Transfer Supervisor when needed.
Profile

Job Offer
The offer for the successful candidate includes a competitive pay rate for the duration of the 3-month contract with potential opportunity to extend and/or convert to a Full-Time Employee.
