Description
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop standardized work instructions and production documentation.
- Conduct time studies to establish accurate production benchmarks.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure product designs support manufacturability.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues on the shop floor.
- Lead or contribute to lean manufacturing and efficiency initiatives.
- Design and refine tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance workflow.
- Maintain routings, BOMs, and manufacturing data within relevant systems.
- Research and apply emerging manufacturing technologies when beneficial.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 6-8 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming, machining).
- Experience programming CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; familiarity with Inventor Vault is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and support team development.
