Quality Engineer- Medical Manufacturing - Somersworth, NH
The Quality Engineer Manufacturing will lead root cause investigations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. They will collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, enhance product quality, and maintain robust documentation within the Quality Management System.

Description
The Quality Engineer, Industrial / Medical Device Manufacturing will:
- Lead root cause investigations and manage corrective actions through closure
- Conduct internal quality audits and support QMS gap analysis and improvements
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and QMS records
- Train employees on quality processes and procedures
- Analyze manufacturing data using statistical tools (e.g., SPC from ERP)
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve measurement methods and production processes
- Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
- Implement and enhance quality-related capabilities within the ERP system
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues
- Participate in process mapping and other CI projects
- Provide backup support for Quality Technician and QA Specialist roles
- Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader
- Onsite at our Somersworth, NH facility
Profile
MUST HAVE
- Engineering Degree
- Document Control
- PPAPS
- Supplier Quality experience
- Local to Somersworth, NH
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
- Exposure to the medical device industry is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems and document control processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
