Traveling Commercial Construction Manager - OPM

$110,000 - $140,000/Year

  • Specific projects are in Peterson, Wisconsin and Okmulgee, Virginia, etc.

Client Details

Exciting OPM firm based in Weston MA, is looking for a CM to join their established team!

Schedule - 2 weeks on the job site, then 2 weeks (hybrid) from the office.

Description

  • Maintaining a 50% travel schedule
  • Site safety
  • Managing Dairy relations
  • Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Managing General Contractors
  • Providing insight and direction on construction plans prior to mobilization to ensure they are realistic and achievable
  • Supporting in development and maintenance of project Master Schedule
  • Developing and managing the 3-week look ahead
  • Overseeing project completion milestone progress & deliverables
  • Analyzing impacts to schedule & cost of recover / acceleration plans
  • Supporting for developing project document control programs
  • Managing the projects in cost control, cost forecasting, invoicing, and financial management
  • In charge of risk identification, risk analysis, recovery planning
  • Analyzing 'what-if' scenario impacts during strategic execution planning
  • Supporting in project pre-planning & development
  • Overseeing project completion milestone progress & deliverables
  • May be requested to work with business development, reviewing proposals and future projects
  • Coordinating with the procurement team and outside vendors for owner procured equipment
  • Mentoring Construction Associates
  • Providing performance evaluations

Profile

  • OSHA 30
  • Able to use ProCore, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Adobe / Bluebeam, Navisworks, Google Earth, DocuSign, Expensify
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Has AED Certificate
  • 5-8 years of Construction Management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Full understanding of project financial setup, tracking, reporting & management
  • Full understanding of procurement process & management
  • Full understanding of contract language and use in building of compliance matrix
  • Full understanding of development & execution of change management process
  • Experience managing RFIs, Submittals, and Transmittals
  • Basic ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Advanced understanding of consequences of all project performance
  • Advanced schedule development and maintenance
  • Experience in contract compliance; change management process
  • Advanced document control program development and execution
  • Advanced blueprint & specification reading
  • Knowledge of estimating
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Advanced leadership skills, excellent communicator, negotiator, motivator
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Well Organized
  • Very Resourceful
