Financial Reporting Manager

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, the Financial Reporting Manager supports the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple international entities. The role focuses on financial close activities, audit coordination, and internal controls support, working within established accounting frameworks and under the direction of senior finance leadership.

Financial Reporting & Close Support

  • Support the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple entities.

  • Review monthly journals and supporting schedules for completeness and compliance with group accounting policies.

  • Assist in reviewing balance sheet movements and variances, ensuring appropriate explanations and documentation are prepared.

  • Ensure reporting deliverables are submitted accurately and on time in accordance with established timelines and formats.

  • Support the implementation of accounting policies across entities, including assisting during onboarding of newly acquired entities.



Audit & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate audit requests and documentation for external auditors under the supervision of the Regional Finance Director.

  • Support interim and year-end audit processes, including preparation of schedules, responses to audit queries, and follow-up actions.

  • Assist with statutory reporting and compliance requirements for group entities, where applicable.



Financial Controls & Process Support

  • Support the maintenance and documentation of internal financial controls related to financial reporting.

  • Assist with control testing, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up in line with internal requirements.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the financial close and reporting cycle and support their implementation.



Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work within existing finance systems and reporting tools to support accurate financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Operations teams as needed to support finance reporting requirements.

  • Participate in finance systems and reporting initiatives as directed.



Team Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Support the broader finance team by sharing technical knowledge and reporting best practices.

  • Participate in training and development activities related to accounting standards, systems, and internal controls.

  • Escalate issues appropriately and seek guidance when required.

Profile



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Professional accounting qualification or progress toward qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA or equivalent).



Experience & Knowledge

  • 3-6 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles.

  • Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.

  • Experience supporting external audits and structured financial close processes.

  • Exposure to multi-entity or international reporting environments.

  • Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems such as Navision / Business Central, Hyperion, HFM, or OneStream (user or power-user level).



Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established processes.

  • Comfortable working in deadline-driven reporting environments.

  • Strong Excel skills.

  • Reliable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
