Senior Project Manager- Public Ground Up -Hackensack, NJ
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead ground‑up public construction projects exceeding $15 million in value. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive field and office management experience, including strong Procore expertise.

Description
- Oversee the full lifecycle of ground‑up public construction projects-from pre‑construction planning to project closeout.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and onsite operations to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.
- Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and performance oversight with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, owners, and municipal agencies throughout project execution.
- Utilize Procore to manage RFIs, submittals, daily logs, documentation, and reporting.
- Identify risks, develop solutions, and maintain strong communication with the executive team on milestones and project health.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements and operational best practices within the project management team.

Profile
A successful Public Ground Up Senior Project Manager should have:
- 15+ years of experience managing ground‑up construction projects within the public sector.
- Proven track record leading $15M+ projects, preferably in municipal, education, or government‑funded construction.
- Strong proficiency in Procore and industry‑standard scheduling and documentation tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills with the ability to drive team performance.
- Deep understanding of public contracting requirements, compliance, and NJ building codes.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high‑quality delivery.
