Description
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for:
- Leading HVAC and mechanical design for life sciences, biotech, and cleanroom projects.
- Preparing detailed construction documents, equipment specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and process teams.
- Overseeing design compliance with industry standards and applicable codes.
- Conducting field surveys, inspections, and punch lists.
- Supporting or leading client meetings and project presentations.
Profile
The right Mechanical Engineer has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-8+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience.
- Experience with life sciences, cleanrooms, or similar high-tech environments strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and load calculation software.
- PE license preferred; EIT required.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
