Defense - Project Engineer - Exeter, NH
The Project Engineer will focus on designing solutions that meet customer requirements, either through creating new designs or adapting existing product lines. They will be responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of complete, manufacturable packages to our production team.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions using industry-standard engineering practices and CAD systems while adhering to all contractual requirements and company guidelines
- Create procedures, test standards, and new fixtures to streamline manufacturing and testing processes
- Serve as technical liaison with customers to ensure requirements and expectations are fully met
- Lead technical aspects within cross-functional teams for new product development, qualification, and production integration
- Oversee product qualification processes, conduct formal design reviews, and provide manufacturing support
- Review and contribute technical expertise to quotations and orders
- Develop and manage qualification test plans
- Contribute to failure analysis investigations and root cause analysis (RCA) evaluations
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company product lines and emerging technologies
- Ensure all designs comply with established quality and qualification standards
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Engineering degree required (BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Minimum 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in defense or high-reliability industries
- Strong technical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving capabilities
- Working knowledge of high-pressure systems and electrical/thermal safety standards
- Experience with advanced measurement and testing procedures across multiple parameters
- Background in power and communication systems preferred
- Understanding of government and military specifications preferred
- Quality systems experience (ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of specialized manufacturing processes and design tools a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
