Description

Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Use problem solving to find ways to advance and improve processes
• Design and develop new products
• Improve existing product lines
• Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams
• Ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements
• Develop and implement project timelines and budgets
• Present product ideas and final deliverables to key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process and product innovation and enhancements
• Work closely with the manufacturing department to develop prototypes

Profile

A successful Product Development Engineer should have:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the automotive, aerospace, plastics or rubber manufacturing industries
• The ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments
• A passion for product development and innovation
