Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive quality excellence and continuous performance improvements throughout the organization.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business environment and its impact on company profitability.

  • Review and evaluate product specifications and customer requirements to ensure alignment.

  • Guarantee compliance with relevant national and international quality standards.

  • Integrate environmental, health, and safety considerations into quality practices.

  • Establish and agree upon internal quality standards.

  • Collaborate with operational teams to define and document processes and procedures.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive quality protocols.

  • Systematically develop and maintain a clear, accessible quality management system for all employees.

  • Implement and oversee quality controls and documentation management.

  • Manage technical staff conducting product tests and inspections, often within lab settings.

  • Ensure testing procedures are accurately executed, results evaluated, and product adjustments investigated as needed.

  • Collect and analyze performance metrics against established benchmarks.

  • Prepare detailed technical and management reports.

  • Oversee the internal audit program and its scheduling.

  • Lead initiatives for ongoing product and service quality improvements.

  • Identify and address training needs related to quality standards.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Partner with purchasing to define and monitor supplier quality standards and performance.

  • Evaluate suppliers' product specifications and quality assurance plans.

  • Oversee supplier audit programs to ensure adherence to quality expectations.

Profile





  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering position.

  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards, including quality systems, procedures, and managing internal audits.

  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and customer specifications.

  • Strong computer skills, with experience using word processing, spreadsheets, project management, and manufacturing software.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with both customers and team members.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Reliable and punctual, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain orderly documentation and files.
