Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer with experience in OSHPD medical construction to join their team. The Project Engineer will support project management and field operations, ensuring that OSHPD compliance, quality standards, and schedules are rigorously maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Description
Key Responsibilities for Project Engineer - Medical Construction in San Diego
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing all phases of OSHPD medical construction projects.
Review and manage construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders in compliance with OSHPD regulations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and OSHPD inspectors to ensure adherence to project specifications and codes.
Monitor project schedules and budgets, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
Conduct field visits to track progress, quality, and safety compliance on-site.
Maintain thorough documentation and reporting to support project milestones and OSHPD approvals.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.
Profile
A successful candidate for Project Engineer - Medical Construction in San Diego
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
2+ experience in building and construction
Strong understanding of OSHPD regulations, building codes, and healthcare construction standards.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
