They do over $1B of revenue each year, with the Charlotte office overseeing a significant portion of that. Their market focus is primarily Light Industrial and Commercial, $50-100M+ on average. They are currently seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to help lead their Charlotte MEP Operations overall.

Description

The MEP Project Manager - Top 100 ENR GC - Charlotte will be responsible for:

• Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
• Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
• Process, review, and track submittals
• Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
• Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
• Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
• Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
• Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
• Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
• Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Management staff

Profile

The MEP Project Manager - Top 100 ENR GC - Charlotte should have:

• 3+ Years as an Assistant PM, or Project Manager focusing on MEP trades
• Large Scale Light Industrial and/or Commercial project experience is preferred
• A Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related-field is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Applicable software knowledge is preferred
